A device for enhancing the maneuverability of motorboats and motoryachts includes a high velocity water jet pump (HVWJP) attached to the main engine through an electromagnetic clutch. High velocity water flows from the HVWJP's outlet to bow and stern side nozzles, through solenoid valves, individually controlled from the cockpit.
