An injection molding tool is described for the production of disc-like information carriers, in particular in the form of CD's and/or DVD's. The injection molding tool has a first and a second mirror block which form the cavity and which are located opposite to each other and which, for allowing an opening and a closure of the cavity, are movable relative to each other.
