Technical Examples

A double cannula assembly for medical or veterinary use includes a first cannula (10) for insertion into a blood vessel in a conventional manner. This first cannula is an outer cannula and a second or inner cannula (12) is subsequently inserted through said first cannula to extend beyond the distal tip of the outer cannula.
