A printing unit is built into an upper portion of a handheld terminal, a display unit is built into the middle portion, and a key inputting unit is built into a lower portion. A laser type scanner for reading a barcode, etc., is built into the right side of the main body, and a switch for turning on/off the scanner is built into the proximity of the bottom of the scanners.
