  1. A housing for an electronic device in automotive technology has two molded-plastic housing parts fittable together to form a cavity and a membrane hinge unitarily formed with the parts and permitting relative pivoting of the parts between an open position and a closed position. The electronic device is secured in the cavity between the parts.
