  1. An ink jet printer for forming an ink jet printed long strip of cloth includes a design image generation unit, a receiving unit, a generating unit and a synthesizing unit. The design image generation unit generates design image data representing a design image repeatedly using a basic pattern. The receiving unit receives first designation data regarding a logotype mark, while the generating unit repeatedly generates logotype mark image data representing the logotype mark repeatedly using a logotype pattern independently from the repeated using of the basic pattern, in accordance with the first designation data received by the receiving unit.
