A padded receiving device for nail care devices comprising a pad, a pad holder with a pad, or a padded base engaging case, individually or in any combination with each other. The pad holder for supporting the pad has a front slit and an optional rear slit. The pad holder has a top member and a bottom member molded or attached together.
