  1. A printhead assembly for an inkjet printer includes an elongate carrier. A number of printhead modules are mounted on the carrier. Each printhead module includes an ink delivery assembly and a printhead chip mounted on the ink delivery assembly. Flexible printed circuit board assemblies are attached to the carrier and to respective printhead modules for carrying data and power to said modules.
