The mark consists of a three dimensional design of a bottle featuring a gold cap, a gold label on its neck featuring the word CAPITAN in gold with the words CAPITAN and BUCANERO in a circular design behind it. A scroll design label is featured on the base of the bottle's neck in beige with gold and beige borders both outlined in black with the words VIEJO AÑEJO in black. The center of the bottle features an oval shaped label with gold and beige borders outlined in black, the word IMPORTADO in red at the top, the words DESTILADO Y ENVEJECIDO EN LA REPUBLICA DOMINICANA in black on one side, and the words DISTILLED AND AGED IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC in black on the opposite side, with two small gold dots outlined in black on either side. The word RON in black near the top of the label, the words CAPITAN BUCANERO in black outlined in beige then black in the center of the label. Below it are the words VIEJO and AÑEJO in black. Below it is a design of the mirrored letters R and C in red outlined in gold. The word RUM in black above the words REPUBLICA DOMINICANA in red are seen at the bottom of the label. The bottom of the bottle features a banner design in beige featuring the words CAPITAN BUCANERO with the words RON CAPITAN and BUCANERO in a circular design. Six gold coins outlined in black each featuring a different portrait of a man or woman or both. The color amber is in the liquid in the bottle.
