a voluntary after-school program designed to bring students and faculty together through physical activity The student must recruit a faculty member to be their exercise partner They must dedicate at least one half hour a week to exercise together in the school's Fitness Center The student's role will be to motivate and assist the teacher with the machines in the Fitness Center SHAPE UP will allow students to demonstrate their knowledge of exercise and fitness to the teachers and staff This programs encourages students to take the initiative Also, it is a good opportunity for teacher, staff, faculty, and students to be social, have fun, and be physically active;SHAPE UP;
