Description: | Biomedical engineering;The certification mark, as used or intended to be used by persons authorized by the certifier, certifies or is intended to certify that the individual: (1) currently be a Canadian Citizen or permanent resident of Canada for a minimum of three years; (2) be a member in good standing for a minimum of 5 consecutive years as of the nomination closing date; (3) have made an outstanding contribution to the Biomedical Engineering profession within Canada for a minimum of 10 years, including: (a) an exceptional record of accomplishments and service to biomedical engineering whether in practice, development, or research; (b) the accomplishments shall have contributed to the advancement or application of engineering, science, and technology in medicine, and in so doing, brought significant value to the Society and the profession; (c) be sponsored by 2 CMBES members (a nominator and seconder) in good standing; it is preferred, but not required, that one of the nominator or seconder will be a Fellow of the Society in good standing.; |
