The mark consists of the word BAYONNE in a curved arc, bordered above and below by curved lines which form an incomplete oval, above a stylized design of four comma-shaped heads (a lauburu).;Color is not claimed as a feature of the mark.;Ham;The certification mark, as used by authorized persons, certifies that the ham on which the mark is used has been manufactured exclusively from pigs born, bred and slaughtered in the three following regions in southwestern France: Aquitaine, Midi-Pyrénées and Poitou-Charentes, and that the ham has been processed (salted, cured and eventually deboned and sliced) exclusively in the Adour Basin in southwestern France, which area comprises one single French département (Pyrénees Atlantiques) plus the neighboring cantons of the Adour River, including the city of Bayonne.;
