Written within and around the interior border of the circular seal is the stylized wording FEDERATION OF KERALA ASSOCIATION IN NORTH AMERICA. Written on the left ribbon is the wording ESTD and written on the right ribbon is the date 1983. In the middle of the seal on the left is the image of the Statue of Liberty, followed by two coconut trees in the background in the center. At the top, between the Statue of Liberty and the coconut trees, is a stylized depiction of part of the state seal of Kerala being the top of a temple and a seashell.
