The mark consists of a stylized compass with the letters E, S, and W which is partially covered by a curving arrow. The compass is a halo style with an open or hollow center. The arrow begins in the upper hollow/center portion of the compass and curves twice until it crosses over the compass on the lower left side. A directional indicator line or bar appears at the top of the halo compass covering the portion where N/North would be displayed.
