The mark consists of two shaded concentric ovals where the innermost oval is outlined by a rope. On the top of the outer oval is the wording MOHAN MEAKIN LIMITED. ESTD. 1855 written between two stars, underneath the star on the right is written PRODUCE OF INDIA. On the bottom of the outer oval is the wording MOHAN NAGAR BREWERY, DIST. GHAZIABAD. (U.P.) REGD OFFICE: SOLAN BREWERY (H P.). Along the top inside of the rope oval is the wording BREWED FROM INDIAN GOLDEN BARLEY & GERMAN CONTINENTAL HOPS and directly underneath is an illustration of a monk in front of a stack of beer barrels. Underneath the monk is the stylized wording OLD MONK, below which is EXTRA SPECIAL then a line and then PILSNER BEER BREW MASTER SPECIAL BREWED & BOTTLED BY.
